ITINERARY

Day 01 – LUSAKA

Arrival in Lusaka, Zambia’s capital. Transfer housing

Accommodation: Pioneer Lodge & Camp

Day 02 – LUSAKA – MKUSKI

Drive to the north of Zambia.

Accommodation: Forest Inn

Day 03 – Mkushi – Mpika

Early departure towards the Kundalila Falls. Picnic at the Falls. Remember

swimsuit. We made our way to Mpika. Free dinner

Accommodation: Bayama Lodge

Day 4 – Mpika – North Luangwa N.P.

Early departure to the North Luangwa N.P. , We left the asphalt road, from today are all sand roads, cross rivers, rocky areas, mountains, the black rhino sanctuary, about 5 hours drive 4×4 safari. We arrived at lunch time our Lodge. At 16h all prepared for our first safari!!

Day 05/06/07 – North Luangwa National Park

The park has been closed to the public for over 30 years and has been a protected area developed by the Frankfurt Zoological Society. It is very famous for the high density of lions, as well as the impressive herds of buffalo over a thousand copies. Its beauty is unsurpassed.

For three days we will walk and 4×4 safaris, our guide will teach the African bush can not be seen from the car: tracks, droppings, nests, hiding, … show us the role of plants, trees, flowers … but we also learn to recognize the specific songs of birds in the area, it is normal crossing with elephants, buffaloes, lions … even wild dogs or leopards. Emotions soar! You feel part of the landscape as well as the first explorers!

Also visit the towns of Chifunda for which we will have to ford the Luangwa River, finding the other hand, outside the National Park.

Day 08. – NATIONAL PARK-SOUTH LUAMBE LUANGWA

Early departure to the South Luangwa N.P. It’s a very nice trip, crossing beauty areas, small towns full of life and color, along the river to see the many hippos bathe. The area is very little tourism. We will stop for lunch in the small PN Luambe. Then following the river reach the South Luangwa National Park.

Day 09 and 10 – South Luangwa National Park

During these days we will have the ability to perform day and night safaris.

Equipped with powerful spotlights try to locate the most feared predators, lions and leopards. Every day we take a brief snack in the Luangwa river bank while watching the extraordinary sunset. The river is full of crocodiles and hippos also begin their activity to sundown.

Day 11. – MFUWE-LILONGWE – Senga Bay

Transfer by car to Mfuwe International Airport and private connecting flight to Lilongwe. from the capital of Malawi Salima transferring wagon (140km). Arriving awaits crystalline beaches that have little to envy to the nearby Indian Ocean. Senga Bay Forest Reserve near Salima, is of the most beautiful parts of Lake Malawi, ideal for bird watching. White sands combined with the fascinating waters.

Day 12, 13 – Senga Bay

Enjoy free time to relax in the sun, walking the beaches, or taking advantage of the activities offered accommodation.

Day 14. – Lilongwe

Transfer by car to the airport in Lilongwe to connect with the international flight.
